I recently sprung a leak in my radiator...didn't realize it until the car hit 300 degrees... yeah. Welp after replacing the radiator and coolant resevoir and cap, I am still getting coolant spraying out of the cap under acceleration. This lead me to do a compression test: don't have the exact numbers with me right now but it was a cold test and all cylinders were around 175 except cylinder 5 which was at 110. So onto leakdown results:
Cylinder 5: 29%
Cylinder 4: 15%
Cylinder 8: 17%
Cylinder 1: 18%
Cylinder 3: 16%
Cylinder 7: 13%
Cylinder 2: 14%
Cylinder 6: 13%
I could hear pressure escaping through the coolant system and the exhaust and the oil unfortunately. It is barely noticable, but it is there. So now I'm forced to get this thing repaired at a shop since I do not have garage space for another project right now.
I'm from the Annapolis Maryland area. Can you guys recommend any shops you have had good experience with. I don't exactly trust just anyone to tear my motor apart.

i did mine over fender. worst part was getting stock lower pulley off.

i haven’t seen many threads on gasket blowing on untouched engines.

but have on bad head. this side is an issue,

i had my 1st head repaired. it lasted another 100k before issues again.

i replaced it with a fully assembled new head.

it was like bolt and go. very easy to do even for 1st timers
