I just bought some maxmium motorsports coilovers and I was wondering if anyone if they would clear a 17×9 wheel with a 24 offset and a 5.94 backspacing. Basically they are the replica Cobra R wheels that OE wheels sales. Has anyone ran those wheels with Maxmium Motorsports coilovers in the front with 10 springs or knows if the this wheel with these settings would fit. I called Maxmium Motorsports and they said it should fit but they were for sure.

Ok, good to know. Do you guys have the the 10 inch springs? What size tires are you guys running in the front? How much clearance do you guys have and did you have to use any spacers? Thanks for the help!!!

I'm just trying to confirm. You guys are both running the MM coilover springs that are 10 inches, without spacers with those wheels? Thanks

there is a guy running 17x10 on sn95 forum using MM coilovers and the offset is +22, doesn't fit perfect but with a little fender pulling they fit. I know the Enkei wheels on tire rack fit according to the guy on sn95.

What year is your car? 96-98 spindles push the wheel out further by 5mm away from coil over than on a 94-95.

On my 94, I was running bilstein MM front kit with 10 inch spring. 95R replicas fit without rubbing (very close though) with a 275 front tire. 03-04 wheels rubbed the coil spring and required a small spacer.

Mines a 1998. 425lb 10" spring, MM struts. Ive run 275/35/18, 245/40/18, 275/40/17, 255/40/17.. They all fit fine no spacers. Since a 18x10 +24 didnt fit and a 17x9 +24 did Id have to guess the clearance on the 9" is less than a half inch.

mines a 95. 10 inch 350lb springs. 17X9 Cobra R rep with a 255-40-17. I might up the front size to a 275-40-17 on the same wheel.
