I have a 2002 mustang gt 2v with a built short block and a vortech v2, im pretty much maxed out on this cars budget after the fuel system, engine build, suspension and trans. Problem is i never even got to touch the heads. I spent all this money building a fuel system to handle 700+ hp and im pretty sure i wont break 500 with the heads and cams. Anyone know what these heads and cams are good for?

What type of head unit? S, T, Si trim?

I doubt you'll make more than 550rwhp with stock heads/cams. They just do not flow well.

s trim, running a 3.33 stock rib. i think anything smaller will slip.

First off you can make upwards of 500 RWHP with stock un ported PI heads. Many people have done it time and time again.

Now your S trim should max around 525ish with stock heads, provided you spin it to the max. With a 3.33 pulley your impeller speed is only around 42,xxx rpms and still have 10,000 rpms to give with that blower according to Vortech. In order to get the additional RPM out of your S trim you will need to either get a smaller saw cut or coated pulley. The other option is an OD crank pulley.
