Mass air conversion

Bought an 86 GT and looking to make the swap to mass air. How difficult is it? Is there a lot of wire splicing?

well you need a maf sensor, ecu from 89-93 mustang and a mass air wire harness. below is a link to harness and it comes with the install instructions. ecu and maf sensor can be got off ebay for cheap.

I've got the factory mass air housing off of my 93 GT, still need the harness, the sensor and the computer. I'll probably head down to my local junkyard and see what I can find.

For the the ECU I would suggest to get an A9L for stick and I think A9M for auto if possible. they tend to work the best. also check out the link below
