Im putting a 98 long block on my 97 cobra. My question is i want to add my stock windage tray to mark 8 long block do i just remove main cap bolts and re install my cobra ones or?

I would not do that. Just spend the 75 bucks for the Canton windage tray to add with ur stock oil pan with a little fab work on pickup tube and pan.

Ttt. Would like to add my windage tray,oil pump,oil pickup and oil pan to 98 mark8 long block. Its the only thing holding me back. Can i just undo main bolts and reinstall to torq specs?
