I'm wondering how to make 530 horsepower and any supporting mods to be safe with the car. I know the number should be fairly easy to hit but I just need some other opinions for mods. The car is bone stock.

Ported eaton (posi or steg), single blade throttle body, ported plenum, twin gt pumps, 80# injectors, E85. 2.93 6lb lower.
There's a lot of ways to get there, depends where you plan on stopping.

Only way on an Eaton is E85. Otherwise do a blower upgrade.

At or around the 500whp mark you will need injectors, maf and fuel upgrades.

I don't really want to go e85. So looks like im getting a new blower. I'm thinking Whipple but then again there is Kenne bell. What do you guys suggest?

I hit 535 on a ported eaton set up. 3.1 upper 6lb lower. Long tubes, jlt, accufab TB. 60lb injectors and a BAP (stock pumps). 93 pump gas.

You do NOT need e85 to reach 500.

However I will say... If you dont already have a ported eaton. Skip the ported set up, and get a bigger blower. You'll save your self time and money in the long run.

If a twin screw is in the budget, I'd skip the ported blower for sure.

Is the fuel upgrade just a BAP or do you have to upgrade the fuel pumps?

Thanks

Do a TVS, Whipple or KB. If you go the ported blower route you will end up spending more money to get the same numbers. I bet if you do a TVS or small whipple you can get 530 to 550 no problem with around 13lbs of boost. Just a guess, but that would be a good safe setup.

Thanks Lowflyn!

When making 13 psi on a whipple or TVS does it make the same tq at low RPM like the eaton’s do? I’m in the same situation as the OP but my car is already 450+rwhp and rwtq. Love the whine of the eaton just not the heat!

Get the bigger blower and don't look back..

You will NOT regret it.
