I know back in the day Magnaflow coating was horrible! Everyone complained about them flaking off. I want to put their GT500 Comp Axleback on my new 5.0, but I dont want to deal with flaking coating. Anyone know if they are better now?

I've got the black RTR axle backs on, but they are made by Magnaflow. They've only been on for about three weeks, but the black coating looks to be very good so far...
I have the GT500 Comp ABs. No issue with flaking but after a couple months, I coated them grey. The finish was fine when I did that though. If it's worth anything, when I was sanding down the finish to prep it for a REcoat this past week, the paint sanded off pretty easily but the black coating was still there despite the sanding.
Thanks for the help guys. Good to know they seem to be doing a better coating job. I ended up buying the FRPP Sport Quad Axle Back. Hopefully will have it next week.
