machining c/d slotted rotors

can you actually machine crossed drilled and slotted rotors or do they have to be replaced?? i have a set with a very slight pulsation and i work @ a shop so i was just gonna cut them but ive heard that your not supposed to. is there any truth to this or should i just have at it

You will mess up the bits if you try ice tried before and the bit couldn't handle it

x2 on screwing up the bits. we tried it at work and they turned out aweful. thats the down side to drilled and slotted rotors

Dammit thats kinda what I figured I was just hoping I could do a a bunch of very light cuts and see if I could work it that way but I guess not. Thanks guys
