Anybody that's on board with the EV push/phasing out ICE are most likely the spawn of cousin ****ing retards. First, the free market didn't call for EV's. The sales prove that. If EV is > to ICE then there would be no issue with the market choosing EV's over ICE. However that isn't what's happening. EV's are being forced down the consumers throats under the guise of "climate change". It's pure bullshit at its finest. Not only that but EV's have numerus problems from huge infrastructure issues, obtaining raw material, mining the material, battery recycling and the giant fat ****ing elephant in the room, the fact majority of electricity is produced by coal, natural gas, and petroleum which is defeating the purpose of clean energy. I am not even bringing EV production into the argument let alone all the issues with EU experiences with use/battery life. If you think the powers at be don't understand these issues and just think "we'll figure it out in the next 9 years" you are mistaken. Realistically, ICE can't be phased out by 2035 and they know it. So the only realistic option is to keep ICE until EV tech develops. Assuming there isn't another tech that comes out that smashes EV. Which is totally possible. However IMO, this is all about restricting mobility which is ultimate control. IMO, I see public trans and riding sharing as the future with the richest among us owning a personal vehicle.
