MACH 460 TECHNICAL INFO

I'm looking for the 2001-2003 (and 2000 on GT/V6s) Mach 460 (the double-din unit, w/ 6cd change in dash).... can't find much, but I did find a lot for the older ones.. so any of you guys with <2000 year cobras (and other mustangs I guess) can benefit..

I'll bet you a dollar that the wiring is the same for the 2003 as it is for the earlier versions. The head unit is obviously different. The speaker elements look to be the same.

According to that site, it's not. Since the older one is two heads, both made by Sony. From what I hear, the 2000+ Mustang M460's are much easier to make an adaptor for (like one crutchfield would suppy)... but I don' t know.
