Mach 460 problem

So I had the factory head unit replaced with a new Sony deck. Not long after the whole left side of the car will intermittently cut out completely. I can make it come back on by cranking the volume way up and then back down to normal level but it doesn't fix it for long at all. Took it back to shop that installed the new deck to have it checked and they said there's nothing wrong with the deck or its connections. Hey said most likely one of the factory amps is going out and that is causing the problem.

Question is:
A) Is that an accurate assessment?
B) If so how do I determine which one is going out?
C) Are here any factory replacements available?

If I am not mistaken Mach 460 has 3 amps. The amp by the radio controls the entire front and the two rear amps respectively run each side. My guess it a wiring issue or the radios balance function is f*** up. Try hooking up another radio or the stocker back in and see if it happens

Too late now..but in the future...crutchfield and diy.

I bet it's the wiring They did.

Ask them for their wiring diagram.
