If the driver is a nasty driver the fox has the power to weight ratio the foxbody should win, but close in power, drivers race im sure,

about 2 years ago my friend with a a geared gutted bolt on foxbody that went 12.50's on slicks 12.8 on drag radials and low 13's on street tire, raced my friends bolt on 2003 mach 1 from a roll and the foxbody walked the mach easily. so depends

na the fox may be putting down 270 to the wheels compared to the machs 330ish so its not that close

With the fox having 4.10's and DR's, if he can launch it, he might get the edge. If not, the Mach might have it. If roll race, i think it'll be close.

If he was running those times then I dont see how he would easily walk a mach. Bone stock mach 1s(manuals) run 13.0s-13.1s. Minor bolt on mach 1s run 12.30s-12.50s with drag radials, a good driver and trap 110.

Hard to say really, the Head and Intake selection on the Fox aren't exactly cream of the crop, however if he can drive it you may have a bit of a run on your hands.

If I were putting money down, it'd be $20 on the Mach, but I wouldn't be surprised if I lost it.

Mach should get it if you can drive it hard. I ran a buddy's '90 GT with a TrickFlow H/C/I combo from multiple rolls in my old Mach and it was dead nuts until roughly 110 MPH where I would walk away. I had 4.10s, O/R X, catback, intake, and a tune at the time and made 301 RWHP.

1/4

i am running at Bradenton 1/4 track FL. and yes quarter mile. i also have eaton ready to go on but if i put charger on hell spray me but still think it be a close race. i ran 12.9 with intake spacer and street tires at 107 does that qualify me as good driver?

My friends foxbody dynoed 250rwhp and had weight reduction my friends mach1 had same bolt ons but only made 289rwhp and the foxbody won like stated do to power to weight the foxbody was agood 500lbs less and driver mod which overcame the 39rwhp diff esp from a roll.

Not all cars run same times, like stated above already 2 times

My friends fox was a strong mid to high 12 sec car and weighed 2800lbs or less

the Mach was a low 13 sec car that weighed stock weight mid to low 3,000lbs

Do the math.

Mach 1 3,200-3,400lb car
bolt ons
289rwhp
stock it ran 13.5@105

bolt ons it ran low 13's @108

foxbody 2,800lbs or less
bolt ons/intake mani gears
weight reduction
250rwhp
best times to date 12.4@111 and 12.56@110
Evan Smith style Driver mod

Depends the Fox Depends the mach1 so many diff combos. ofcourse the mach has the edge due to coming with a 300hp stock, but the foxbody has the edge of power to weight and easy cheap mods for a pushrod and proven tech ;)
