I have a stock 4.6 shortblock out of my 04 Mach 1 with 24,000 miles on it with the forged crank. Its in excellent condition and will post pics tomorrow. Im asking 900 obo plus shipping.

Does this block have a 6 bolt or 8 bolt main? what part of new york.. (i see upstate)

I think you mean 6 or 8 bolt crank shaft, in this case its the forged crank which would be 8 bolt. There's no such thing as a 6 or 8 bolt main
^ ya i was kinda confused by that but yes, 4 bolt main with a 8 bolt crank this is a 5 speed car so its got the forged crank.
what the diff between the cobra 4.6 and the mach 4.6? rods and pistons?
03-04 Cobras had forged pistons & rods versus the 1996-01 Cobra and 03-04 Mach1 had hypereutectic pistons and regular steel rods. I've had a 1996 nitrous-fed Cobra with over 440whp and a 1996 s/c Cobra with 490whp, both with stock bottom ends. They are all built good.
