m6 fifth gear shift issues

anyone have an issue shifting hard into fifth gear...i seem to push the shifter to hard and the stock mount is flexing and i will miss fifth...i am thinking about ordering the mgw shifter and wondering will the solid mount correct this issue

Call MGW and get your name in for their second batch of units. Don't second guess it.

I too had this problem with the stock shifter. I have the MGW now and i'd say it corrects the problem by 95%, the other 5% being the slop in the shifting of the transmission. I plan to get the CHE Torque brace that reduces the amount that the transmission moves to remedy the other 5%.

I can throw 5th now like its 3rd!

Also, change out your tranny fluid to RP 75w90.
