I've been looking to get rid of the floppy penis syndrome in my base GT without going to low or sacrificing much ride quality. These surplus items from the GT 500 KR came up dirt cheap and looked to fit my needs. I got them delivered with the m18183c strut caps for right @ $300. These are advertised 17% and 7% stiffer front and rear respectively and half an inch lower when installed on a standard 500.
Installed on my GT I got about a half inch drop in back and maybe a quarter inch or so in the front due to the weight differential sans a blower. Ride quality is excellent. All of the nosedive is gone and the car is very tight without feeling harsh. Compared to the brembo cars I test drove this kit has none of their harshness. The subtle drop looks great IMHO and won't be an issue for daily driver duty. The rear tires appear to be centered but I probably will throw a phb and brace on thier just to further tighten things up after a while.
I'd recommend these 100% for anyone that wants a killer street setup for chickenfeed.
