m122/gt500 blower adapters available soon

Hello all,

I have placed my order with my machine shop for nine (9) m122/gt500 adapter plates and throttle body adapters. I have also ordered all the bolts and gasketing material needed. This adapter plate will allow you to bolt any stock m122, or replacement gt500 blower (2.3tvs, 2.9 whipple etc.) onto a lightning midplate (adapters are drilled of all years midplate, 99-00 and 01-04). The "kit" will include the following:

1 - m122 adapter plate made from 6061-t651 aluminum, 1", thick with o-ring gasket
8 - m10-1.5x80mm bolts to hold adapter to stock midplate
10 - 5/16-18x1.5" bolts to hold m122/gt500 blower to adapter

1 - throttle body adapter to mount lightning throttle body to gt500 elbow, 1" thick, with o-ring gasket
2- m6-1.0x55mm bolts to hold tb and adapter to gt500 elbow
2 - m6-1.0x35mm bolts to hold adapter to elbow
2 - 1/4-20x1.125" bolts to hold tb to adapter

I have also placed an order for IAC adapters that mount on the EGR port of the m122/gt500 blower

Pricing will be as follows:
$550 shipped with IAC adapter
$500 shipped without IAC adapter

I will post up pictures when all plates are received and "kits" are assembled.

Will the TVS off a 2013 GT500 fit? I'm guessing so as it's a cheap and popular upgrade for the 07-12 GT500 owners.

Yes the 2013 GT500 TVS will bolt on to this plate. If you can find a take off 2013 blower, it would make a great upgrade for the Lightning.

No doubt. Even still Tousley will sell you one with the elbow for right over $2K which is an awesome deal. Of course then you'll probably need to do some fuel system upgrades, MAF upgrade, buy a TB for it, tune, etc and you probably will what to be built if you plan on working the blower much at all. IMO a TVS 2300 is the most desirable street blower for a L as it will be one torque SOB with good topend power.

I pick the adapter plates up on monday, all the bolts are assembled and bagged, only thing i am still waiting for is the IAC adapter, but you can run a remote IAC if desired.

That does look very nice. Coolant hose? I'm guessing EGR delete. Who did the CAI? I've been looking at MP's but as I stated earlier I have a GT500 blower just hanging out in my garage.:beer:

The coolant hose is not needed, just something i made because I like the look. I built the CAI from parts purchased from silicone intakes (4.5" to 4" 45 degree reducing elbow, 4" 90 degree mandrel bend aluminum, 4" straight coupler). Yes the EGR is deleted.

Looks good so far. Maybe I missed it somewhere but did you port the blower while it was out? Pics?

It' will be interesting to see what kind of numbers it puts down.
