Lugnut Torque

What is the recommended torque for the wheel lugnuts? The torque reading is usually with the tire jack or in the manual but I can't find it.

I have always been told that uneven or overtightening of the lugnuts will warp the rotors. Nothing worse when coming to a stop and the brake pedal cycles on you.
