Luckily no one got hurt this time.

To quote my friend who sent me the e-mail;

"A 16 year old driver who’s dad bought him a new 2014 Shelby Mustang wrecked it at Baltimore Country Club Wednesday night at a cart crossing. He had his license for 3 weeks."

I haven't had a chance to talk to him to get any other details, but I'm thinking the dad get's Idiot of the Year Award. :bash:

prolly the worst possible car for a new driver. it takes some skill and a level head to tame this snake.

A bit of rubbing compound and it'll buff out for sure lol. More money than sense on the dad's side of it.

Unless there's frame damage underneath...that car is getting fixed.

I see door, fender, 2 bumpers, 2 wheels. Maybe $12k in damage. Not totalled

Stupid Dad to buy his son that car. No one at 16 can handle that power

This is just like the dipshit who hops on a 1000, gives it too much throttle, then slams into something.

Anyone have the instagram or anything of the kid? I want to see what people have said haha.

so sad to see a car like this get destroyed by a kid. Definitely a poor choice as a first car

And that's just one side of the car. What about the other side which appears to be wedged up against the fence? It looks clear to me, by the mud on the tires, the car either spun completely around hitting the fence on one side and then the other or perhaps the tow wrecker slid the car around which has put the other side up against the fence (highly doubt this was what happened). I'd be surprised if this car is not totaled.

Agree...stupid, stupid Dad. He's fortunate to still have his son.

This happens all the time. This parent gets to join a LONG list of those who have gone before him.

It is amazing that people who are successful in business by weighing the pros and cons of every deal, can't see the problem with putting a kid in a car that taxes the abilities of professional drivers. Maybe the Dad was behind the ACA website......if that is the case, this kind of wreck is SOP.
