LT's or mid length headers?

Just bought an 03 and thinking about adding headers. What headers should I go with?

2.3 whipple w/ 3.1 pully

If you want to keep the x pipe and not buy a different one go bassani. Each company has their own x pipe.

I say long tubes all the way,If I'm not installing Long tubes,I'd just leave the stock manifolds and install an ORX.

Mac 1-5/8 lts are best bang for the buck, arh if you need somthing bigger ie 1-3/4 1-7/8

Couldn't agree more,OP here's a side by side comparison of stock manifolds vs MAC longtubes.

Buddy of mine runs mid length bassani headers. They are also not as loud as Longtubes when he had American racing on there.

So with those mods, will my car see a benefit from headers? I am told it is 575/540 hp/tq now, what kind of an increase can I expect?

You should be closer to 590hp range upon install of lth. Be sure to have your tuner right another tune as my car leaned out a lot after install of headers.

Definitely go with long tubes.
I have had the MAC since 2005.
They support my 733/682

I lost power when I put Bassani's on until I raised boost then they came to life. The finish did not last long, eventually had corrosion and leaks with their individual tube design. Replaced with Kooks and Jet coated them....a much better product.
