I'm looking to buy some longtube headers from Kooks but the problem is that I have a bassani catted x pipe and borla stingers for my exhaust. I wouldn't install headers if they had to be shorties and isn't that the only thing that will fit? What kind of brackets will I need and I was told they were $100+/pc

If you have an x pipe with your stock exhaust manifolds now then you will need to buy a shorty mid pipe if you get long tubes.
Just sell your current x pipe and buy a new one. Buy the one from Kooks that matches. Most lontubes are slightly different and will not mate up to other brand's crossovers.
If you do get shorties get the ones from JBA. They're what I have and I'm happy with them.
Sell the bassani X pipe and buy the mid pipe from kooks when you get the long tubes.
Damn that's a bitch, I would have bought the Kooks midpipe to begin with if I would have known! Oh well, ya live and you learn...I'll see what kind of interest (if any) it gets in The Market and take it from there.
On an NA car LT's are the only way to go. Shorties won't do to much at the rear wheels. Get 1 5/8" primaries.
