I recommend putting the Steeda Sportline springs on the front and the H&R springs on the back. That gave me a 1.25" drop in the front and close to a 1.75" in the rear, evening out the factory rake and giving the car one bad-ass stance. Oh it helped that I have the 18x10.5" wheels on the rear.
I had the same intention in my intial search as you have - about not wanting to exceed the 1.5" drop height. However, the 1" rake was even more exaggerated, which really bothered me.
I ended up replacing the steeda springs out back with the H&R and the set-up is perfect, IMO. The car even rides better thanks to the softer spring rates of the H&Rs.
the hr has the nicest stance. If you have the money id always push for coilovers buyt if you want a mean stance and improved street handling a good set of replacement springs is fine
