Louder Whine, KB or Whipple?

Hey guys I am hoping I can get some direction from some of you that have heard both TS's in person. I am looking at the 2.9 Whipple and the 2.8 KB, which one is going to give me more a louder whine? Appreciate any advice you might have as well!

neither ....these lager blowers dont whine like eatons. If you want the screamer buy a kb 2.2 . be prepared to shell out around 3k for one though...they are really old now but hold their value very well. i have a 2.3 whipple and you can hear it pretty good while under boost. I really like the way it sounds...g/l

My 2.6 kb is noticeably quieter than my friend's saleen was.

Yeah 2.2 KB or just stick with a ported eaton for a loud whine. The newer blowers just don't make the noise.

They actively try and design them not to whine.

The scream isn't from efficiency or lack of, it's simply the RPM of the screws.

Larger screws move more air per turn and therefore need to turn less. Turning less generates less heat which means more power.

Between Kenne Bell , and Whipple , the KB is slightly louder.

Our 3.2LC is a lot louder, its the rotor profile. No quite the 2.2 but close.

I think the KB is a bit louder, I have the Roush tvs2300 and it is not loud at all especially after 3k rpm

My VMP Gen II is definitely a screamer... Even over the loud full exhaust, I can still hear the whine when under boost.
