Uhhhh yeah! He was fine, but NHRA made him be taken out immediately via chopper to the nearest hospital to check him out. And I guess it was something crazy like 100-grand just to rebuild the chassis on the thing!!! Some ridicilous ammount like that. He wasn't exaclty too quick to want to hop right back in and let'r'buck after it was redone the year after.
