I was driving my stock 500 yesterday, and I was on it. Right around 5500-6000 rpm, I shifted to second, and stayed in it. The car fell flat on its head. it was still accelerating, but felt like it lost 200 HP. I stayed on it, and after a few seconds, it grabbed, and took off. Any Ideas on what could have caused this? Thank you :)

Maybe the bypass valve got stuck open? After shifting, could you still hear the supercharger whine under acceleration?

Wheel spin? What kind of tires are you running?

Traction control on or off?????

Could be your clutch slipping. Just a guess.

Was it cutting/chopping up any? Could you feel it get rough?

If so I'd look at spark and fuel.

Good Ideas, Thank you. Im betting traction control, or possibly hitting the limiter. But then again, I might have heard the limiter....
