How much boost are you guys loosing when the weather warms up? I was seing 15-16 psi when it was in the 30s. The other day it was in the low 70s and I was only seeing about 13-14 psi. The belt doesn't seam to be slipping.

Its simple physics. Boost is in essence pressure inside the intake manifold. This pressure is causd by the movement of the air molocules. As the temp drop there is less motion of said molocules so the air id denser (ie more mass of air can occupy the same space).

The engine on our cars is rather warm compared to ambient temps. On a cold day the air will be naturally denser and as it gets in our intake the 100+ degreee temps will cause the additional mass of air to expand and thus cause more pressure in our intake.

On a warmer day the air as it enters the intake manifold is less dense and ltherefor when it gets heated in intake there is not as much mass of air to expand and thus we see lower boost readings.
