Whats the best way to go? I am leaning to a th400 now after hearing some local guys had some bad experiences with the lentech 4r70w.

Some background. My car is a turbo car that currently makes north of 900whp. I anticipate that will only continue to go up. I will be wanting to run a trans brake and the car will see track duty but far more street use.

Who is know for building a solid trans to hold 1000+ hp.

I bought a th400, seen to many people have problems with the 4r70. There are a handful that have went very quick but the problem ones far outweigh the postive ones.

Jake and jakeperformance is building mine. Extreme automatics is also another place I recommend. If you do a th400 try to get a griner brake. Best in the business.

Go with jw for your flexplate and bellhousing. Everything else doesn't fit as well. Also most people like to run Ucc convertors but i'm personally going with a ptc
