Spotted an 01 Cobra, Torch Red with 23xxx miles. Clean car, never smoked in and engine looks clean. They are asking 18000 for it. I figured I would offer 16000. Is this too low or is the car really worth 18000. On KBB, the car is worth 17,200. I would appreciate any input because I really want this car.

Thanks!

01 coupes are not selling at near this price because of the 05s and the 03/04s
Find out wholesale on this car, look around, this is a high price somewhat for this car. dealerships are still trying to get top dollar. Good luck on the hunt

I still say a lot depends on location. I paid $19,600 for my 01 Cobra with 29,200 miles, totally clean, inside and out. I live in Colorado Springs, the next best deal was a 98 Cobra with 44,000 miles for $18,500. Any 03's were still going for $30,000.
So to me that is a good deal, try $16,000 they may go for it, but I kind of doubt it. But it never hurts to ask, good luck

I'm right in STL, and the car was on the otherside of Little Rock. So, about 6 hours of driving and I nabbed the car for alot less than up here. It did need some things done, but really pretty minor.

I'm looking at the JLT CAI vs demolet right now.....

I forgot to answer your other questions.

The car is Electric Green, one of 408 coupes in 99. It's been sprayed with a slightly blue clearcoat. It really looks nice. Anyways, mods include: Magnaflow mufflers, flowmaster cats, pulleys, 17x9 Cobra R's, aluminum trim pieces on the interior. And a stupid billet gas door! If anyone wants to talk about trading their stock gas door for a billet aluminum one, email me!!

I paid $21,000 for mine back in December of '04, only had 7400 miles on it and was clean as a helland only one owner. I may have paid a little much for it, but hey i have never seen and Black Cobra Vert with a tan top yet, not it person or on the internet. But anyway you look at it. These cars ( '99's and '01s ) are something special, Prolly the last NA Cobra Ever. And alot less made than the '03s or '04. With almost 14,000 made( I think thats right) in '03 alone, they are freakin Mutts, and are Dime a Dozen.
