I have the opportunity to purchase a 2000 bright atlantic blue super charged saleen s281 with only 8k original miles. Ive been in the market for a terminator but saw this and its gorgeous. Im looking to see if anybody knows how rare the color is and what these cars are worth? Everything i find online varies and cant get any specifics. Thank you in advance

You can contact Saleen with the vin and they SHOULD be able to tell you how many of them were made in that color.

Me personally I would get a terminator before a saleen any day of the week. Far better engine, transmission and rear suspension setup. Also finding replacement parts for the supercharger system is going to be a insanely hard. Last I checked saleen had washed their hands of the older cars.

Now as far as price I have no idea. I would go to KBB and work from there.

Overall, I would still pull the trigger on a Terminator before I would a Saleen. I believe they are all only 2v cars besides the Saleen Cobra's and the Terminator motor is a 4v with the forged rotating assembly and can compound power a lot easier. Both cars are great. I just feel like you may be happier with a Terminator. If you have the VIN you can call Saleen and they'll give you the details. BAB is a fairly rare color you don't see on a ton of New Edge Saleen. With 8k miles, the price may be higher but I have zero clue really on Saleen pricing at it is all really dependent on the owner since a lot of the cars are all fairly "rare" since the combination of options. Best of luck as you move forward!
