Interested in dropping modular 3-valve into a 1998 Cobra:

Will use factory install kit to ease install:

Is this something your shop can handle?

Can you furnish parts & labor quote?

A 3v in place of a 4v..................:loser: j/k

But really why would you want to swap a 3v? Why not swap in a Mach 1 engine and use your existing cams and get a short runner? I think a 3v swap would be way cool for a 96-04 gt but for a Cobra.....IDK.

I could go with the Aluminator also.. depends.

I like the fact that the computer and supporting items are available direct from Ford Racing.

Plus- this 3V Motor puts out 350hp, more than my 4V.

I would go with the aluminator... You are looking at 7-8k for the engine and "wiring" and you're gonna step down to a 3v with only 350hp. Not worth it at all, you could have a shop build you a brand new engine with all forged internals for cheaper, and would definitely come out happier.

I think its a good idea. 3V TQ is much more linear than the DOHC.
Go for it...

For the price, your nuts.. Just slap in a built 4 valve and call it a day.. I think its not worth the headaches of a swap.
