Welds look like puke. Looks like too much work for me. Maybe it's worth it though. Guess it might help if I actually read it instead of just looking at the pictures
i had the video of that mustang.. i cant remember from which topic i got it from.. its pretty good i guess..

Shit I think you should show him some respect, that is alot of work, and its not like he did anything wrong. Where do besides the welds, which arent easy on piping like that, what is wrong with it?
like everyone said those are some nasty welds.i know guys in my welding class who weld better than that and have welded like five times max.

yes it does work and its pretty quick...
doing the work yourself is a lot more fun than shelling out gobs of money for a blower or turbo kit.
lets do a cost run down here

flanges $60
pipes (free had them laying around, old exhaust pipe ext)
fittings/lines $100
those hydrolic lines i used at parts of charge piping $60
$280
so for aprox 280 dollars i can split my weak sauce 302cid motor in half.
sounds like a good deal?
btw those are the first welds id ever done with that welder or any other welder for that matter.

It looks like crap, but I bet that ****er is FAST. He's got himself a twin turbo 5.0 for very cheap...props for that guy.

yes the welds are shitty, but i could grind them down if i wanted to and no one would know the ****ing difference, and there are pin hole leaks in them too ive been patching as i look around, and the exhaust shows up where the leak is.
the disgusting part where the two pipes come togther was just temporary, i didnt have any kind of Y pipe, and there isnt enough room there to step up to a 3 inch inlet to the MAF very easy. so i welded a bunch of cut up pipe on top of each other till it was 3inch. on sunday nothing is open round these parts so you gotta do with what you have
next weekend i'm going to make some better piping and put my DSM bov on. i got scammed off of ebay for one of the DSM sidemount intercoolers i was going to use. i had all my piping layed out ahead of time to use two dsm sidemounts in the fenders. when i got scammed, i decided to just put it together with whatever i had laying around just so i could drive it.
