Longtubes and clearance...

Is there a specific brand of longtube headers that are best for lowered cars?

Or, one that NEEDS to be avoided b/c of poor ground clearance?

Kooks and American Racing (not the wheel company) are expensive but are supposed to be the best. I know a couple of people with JBA and they said the fit is perfect but you need different engine mount that prevent engine movement, and MAC is out there but I have heard 50/50 reviews.

The early JBA productions were tight against the framerails, but they've supposedly fixed that. I have the early versions with Prothane motor mounts.... but those are a good mod to have anyway.

As far as ground clearance goes, I can tell you the JBA's don't hang down ANY further than the stock H-pipe... here's some pics of mine:

I have them on mine and I hve Eibach Sportlines on mine.:thumbsup:
