im looking into buying a used SVTF and most of the ones i see around my way are 75-100K. Im looking at one that seems to be in great shape just has 90K on it. So i guess what im asking is how long do these little guys last on average(not beat on, driven normally everyday)? Will buying one with this many miles be troublesome or no, thanks in advance :beer:

I would think that with upkeep and normal maintenance on these SVTF, they can go strong. I'm quickly approaching 140K miles on mine, I drive it daily, 40 miles to work one way.

I would make sure the timing belt has been replaced as well as the tensioner and idler pullies.

I agree...

make sure the regular maintence is done (mainly timing belt).

have the front end checked, tie rods mainly....

they are great little cars, just have to make sure the previous owner kept up with it.

about this time the stock clutch might be on its last leg too.
