Long tubes

I have a 97 cobra and I have a friend who has a set of long tubes off his car he wants to sell. I'm thinking of buying them but they are off a 03 cobra. Will they fit my Cobra? I don't want to buy them and then they not fit.

Also are they a big gain with these cars?

Yes they bolt up just fine, but you will not be able to hook up EGR or the secondary air injection tubes at all. I am running 03/04 Cobra headers on my 98 and they bolt up just fine, the ports are the exact same size. I don't run EGR or SAI.
