long term storage

Hello. I would like to store my 1998 Contour SVT for a couple of years but i dont know what to do to the car and motor for a long term storage.

Inside storage or outside?

Personally when I garage for storage. A good wash and wax, Interior detail, Oil Change, Fuel stabilizer, let it run with it in the tank for a little bit. Plug your exhaust pipes, disconnect or remove the battery, put it on jack stands and toss a car cover on that can breath.


You should be good



Stored my cars that way for winter never had any problems.
