i changed my plugs and it started to act stupid.
it wouldnt start
when i got it started i would turn it off
and wont start.
i started it went on the highway slowly reached 120 and it started to jerk
alot of smoke was left behind i pulled over alot of smoke was coming from somewhere in the engine
there was like a spill of oil all over the chassis, tranny, everything. its motor oil
because it was dripping. the truck didnt start for nothing
the battery died. the truck seems dead.

It sounds like you popped you're motor. bucking, oil, smoke = hole in block or oil pan.
what are your mods?(sorry i have signatures turned off)

I ask though, if you changed the plugs and it acted up, and you hadnt sorted it out, why the hell did you go do a 120mph blast?

Id guess the oil pan damage is because something shit the bed inside your motor and made contact with the pan. Even an all stock truck that isnt running properly, got bad gas, or detonated for whatever reason will blow up a motor.

if you plan on keeping it stock as you have, you can find stock short blocks used, or you can buy a stock motor like the previous owner of my truck did

If you plan to keep to truck for years to come:

Have your heads checked. if they are fine just get a new built block and bolt on the heads and it will run the same as before just be strong.

If not just find a drop in LB and RR should be no more than 1300 ish for labor and a motr can be had for 1500 ish

Find an 03-04 if ya can and if ya have to pay 3-400 more so be it . The heads are worth it.
