Had a little run in with a M3 tonite. Looked newer. Had dual pipes on the back and wide rear tires.

He was pacing me on the interstate at around 75. I bumped the gas to see if he was game and he floored it. I did the same. I stopped his pull and that's how the race ended. He let out about 125ish and i just went on by. He may have been inchin me but i couldn't tell. I thought the big heavy truck did well for itself....

Not bad for my little 4lber and a tune. What do they run? This guy looked to be stock.

the old 1's run 14's-15's stock..

so depends what year m3, the 2000-2006 m3 has the 3.2 liter inline 6 cylinder 333hp n/a they tend to run mid to low 13's stock, the new m3 has the 4.0 v8 and they make 414 hp n/a stock and they run mid to high 12's stock.

That's the prior model e46 M3. The new E92/90's will give you a good run. But with your mods maybe not. The new ones run the 1/4 around mid 12's. But they are built for the track not the strip.

I ran a late 90's Manual 2Dr M3 a couple years ago when my LT1 was stock.... took'em by about 3-4 by 90mph but I didn't expect him to even hang with me. My car ran a 13.89 @ 99 stock, and I was pretty impressed that he even hung at all... I thought I was going to wax'em.

Good run. The newer ones get pretty nasty and the brand new M3's are real quick.

Friend's Cummins took out an E46 M3, but up in this altitude, cars tend to run about a second slower than down at sea level (see my sig for example). Good kill none the less.

My brother has an '04 M3 and when I raced him in my stock '04 L he would beat me by 1-1.5 cars by the time we let out. It would probably get worse as the speed went higher.
