Am looking at purchase of a 2002 L engine to put in my 2001 SCrew. What problems, if any, should I look for with the slightly used engine (5000 miles)?

I guess you just need to check the motor that you are going to buy out really well. If possible, listen to it run before you buy it. Check for the obvious, leaks, breaks, etc.. Make sure there isn't a connecting rod hanging out of the block or anything crazy like that. You will most likely need the underhood wiring harness and the computer also.
