Lightning/Nav heads???

I have an 02 lightning and I would like to put a set of 03/04 heads on it (for the obvious reason). But I heard a rumor that navigator sohc 2v heads will fit and they were basically the same as 03/04 heads??? someone give me the run down on that please. BTW I know to stay away from the DOHC heads....too much work.

IIRC, all Navigators from 99-04 only came w/ the 4V heads. 05 and up switched to the 3V.

BTW, your reason is for the spark plug threads, correct?

I know the 2004 Navigator came with 4 valve heads, the ones before I believe had 2 valve heads.

Looks like early production year 1999 Navigators did come with 2v heads, but later in the same year was upgraded to 4v.

I have a 98 model Navi engine I'd sell and its a 4V motor. I think they were 4V motors from 98 on.
