The Ford Racing 5.4L built Shortblock uses the best rotating components for your truck possible! Similar in design or better than the components used in most popular builders engines. The Ford Racing Shortblock sports a Cobra Jet steel forged crank with Manley H beam rods held together with ARP2000 bolts. The Pistons are Mahle forged 12.8cc dish and use a total seal ring set. Same exact design we have used and tested in Cobra Jet mustangs up to 1400 HP! Here are a few pictures I took from a shortblock on the stand.
