I looked at the website. The install should be fairly simple.

Bry,

Thanks but I am not making these to sell. I couldn't charge enough to cover my time so it wouldn't be worth it... I probably had 3 hours of labor in the silly thing and that would be about $225 not counting the $6 in materials, shipping, etc...

But, I would be more than happy to instruct someone on how to make your own...

peace.

Nice design. Looks simple enough to make. Now I gotta make sure the dealer doesn't put the bracket on the front when my car comes in.....

Where did you mount it--are you blocking the intercooler? do you have pix's yet?

Nope, the lower part of the plate is about 2 inches from the lower bumber... The lower screws are for dress. A frame would add strength to this setup.

I wish I had known about this bracket with my 95. When CT went to 2 plates (2000 for me) I mounted the ugly black holder. It looked bad, especially on white.

BrySonic,

I think that you could mount it in reverse. The plate would then be angled downward, and also be subject to hits when parallel parked.

The idea behind this bracket is to keep the bumper's clean look.

:-D

That was my intention too. Thats why mine comes on and off in about 10 seconds.

Used the removeable feature just last Saturday night at a cruise in.

Drove there, took the plate off and put it in the trunk and then put it back before I left...
