Ford_Racer , I like that Bushmaster. And, how's the Romanian AK47? I've fired Chinese & Russian AK's. The Chinese ones handguards got so hot they were burning my hands. But, that was firing at the psychotic rate (or cyclic). A lot of fun.
Most reliable weapon in the world in my opinion.
I need to get a rifle next. Just not while in California...

These are probably the last pics of the WASR like that. My dad got a BSA 30mm red dot for it, along with a slant brake (you can see them in the pic with all the ammo and the AR above the AK). In order to put the red dot on, I need a picatinny rail. So I figured I'll go all synthetic with the upper handguard having the picatinny rail so the red dot can be mounted scout style.

I'm a big fan of the BSA red dots & Eotech's. Use to have an Eotech on my issued M4 in Iraq, until I got an ACOG issued.

Everyone I've talked to that has had an ACOG says they are the best optic period for 5.56 and .308 rifles.

Too bad they don't make one for 7.62
