[QUOTE="offroadkarter, post: 14338865, member: 79484"] I might as well post my beater/project to. I bought this so I could stop DD'ing the marauder which works great when the car runs. When it doesn't run I switch to driving the bronco. 1985 BMW 745i, brought to the US back in 1986 when it was owned by a German diplomat. I bought this car off a friend this year, who got it for free from some college friends back in the fall of 2012. Its a 3.5L turbo I6 making 252hp, ran a 15.7 @ MIR last fall. Once I can get it to hold together for 4 minutes I am going to throw a tial wastegate + rising rate fuel pressure regulator as well as a 3" turboback exhaust and crank up the boost from 6 to 12psi. I'm also planning on repainting it and changing the wheels. Its a very fun car when it works, handles great for its size and if you keep it in the powerband it moves good for something so old. This car was actually on Jalopnik's NPOCP a while back to. I wrote up a whole story from the day my friend brought it home to the day I bought it this winter.
