yes, I'm quoting myself here...

talked to the vet and her specialist after the latest lab work and her levels have come down to the point that she is no longer considered CKD/Kidney failure by the IRIS scale. No more blood pressure meds and moving off Kidney diet food to senior diet, more labs in 2-3 months to double check. She's still getting fluids 2x/week, not sure that'll ever change.

the end of this month will be a year since she was diagnosed stage 4 (end stage) kidney failure. I dunno wtf happened to her to get to that point but she's beaten the shit out of all their projections.

My ladyfriend took poochzilla for a ride today. Been her first ride in months due to her hip issues. She enjoyed every minute of it, and especially her PupCup from Starbucks. I’m so blessed and happy I got to grow up with her, and her grow old with me.

I went with a neighbor of mine yesterday to shoot some photos of his black lab retrieving pheasants. This dog was so hyped and loved every second of it

I went pheasant hunting for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it.

Really makes me want to train our lab to be a bird dog. Just not sure I have the time to dedicate to it being in the middle of a master's program and don't have the extra cash to send him somewhere for it

I couldn’t agree more. We truly don’t deserve them. I’ve been in contact with “Laps Of Love” located in the surrounding areas for me. They’re going to be who comes and puts Brianna (My Pitbull) to rest. I’m going to do it at home so she’s comfortable. She always hated the vet, they will also take her and cremate her for me.
