Our Sadie turned 15 years old on March 3rd. She's definitely slowing down. Thankful for every day she's with us!

Guess where the inspiration for my screenname came from :ROFLMAO: Is she a beagle? My Sadie was a mini-schnauzer (the grey one). Good god that couch is ugly as ****, wtf was my mom thinking?!

Hahaha I was always wondering about your username. Yup she's a pure beagle. Our other nut job Addy is a weiner /beagle mix.

She was about a half second from barking/growling at me to take her for a walk, I refer to it as grumbling

She’s definitely gotten more vocal with me as she’s gotten older
I had a mutt from a local pound in my 20's that liked to "talk". He would do the "woooooo" sound, but it would change pitch. And depending on how I responded he would come back at me. We would have conversations like this. Funny as hell.

These are the other two mutts. The rottie/lab mix is Brutus and he's 13 years old. The rat..errr....shih zu/mini poodle mix is Mocha. She's 11 years old. Both are still good and like to play. Brutus has slowed down a little, but I'll play tug-o-war or do some light fetching when the mood strikes.

ya, she goes through different growls or barks, we do the same. Usually when shes impatiently waiting for me to get changed and take her for a walk. She can't figure out how to howl, it's just kind a of a cry

Our Sadie turned 15 on March 3rd. Her health has been declining. She's been struggling getting around. Her back legs/hips are super weak and no more muscle mass back there. She falls over here and there. And she does have some pain because she pants once in awhile.

She still eats and drinks water. She's been on meds for pain and muscle relaxers. And we do everything we can to keep her comfortable.

We'll probably make the toughest decision this coming up week. Our vet will do a house visit for us.

This was her yesterday. I'm truly heartbroken...
