Misfire? Hesitation?..

Check for this and chances are, some of your COPs might have a crack in them.

Mine had 4 of these damn things cracked. Probably a good idea to replace them every 20-30K miles..or when necessary.

Without spring = cracked to shit (OEM that came with my motor).
With spring = still ok/good (Aftermarket spare that I bought a few years ago).

Hmmm... I never checked this but maybe that's part of the reason mine kept blowing out.

I have (7) brand new SVE coils if anyone needs replacements and doesn't want to pay a lot for them.

Also discovered one coil pack has what looks like melted.

And one of the holes for the coil pack on cylinder #8 had white residue in it. Not sure what that is about, here's a pic anyway.

That "gooey stuff" on the spring is dielectric connection protector, creates good contact for the spring/plug connection
