LED headlights

I've searched and the only thing i could find are threads from 3-4 years ago.

Is anyone running LED bulbs in their OEM housings? I know there's tons of different ones on eBay but no idea what's good and what's bad. I've read a lot that the LED replacements don't scatter like HID so no need to get projector retrofits $$

Any thoughts? I have Sylvania Silverstar Ultras in new OEM housings currently and it's still like having 2 old D cell flashlights taped to the hood compared to the LED headlights on my new Super Duty.

Nope. They install easy. There's the piece that goes in the housing then the bulb inserts into that

My buddy has the kit from American Muscle. He said they were super easy to install and they work well. I've driven in front of him and they don't blind you like HID's in factory housing. However, he has smoked headlights.
Only thing I don't like about the AM kit is they use 6k bulbs and I prefer 5k.

I'll have to look in to see how they are orientated. The bulbs are made so they can be clocked only one way and the LED chips have lenses over them so the light is dispersed properly or so the description says..
