On my '08 GT, I had already installed a plug-n-play kit for sequencers (from mustangtaillightsequencers.com), and figured i'd replace my reverse lights with LED's. Did the research and found the correct ones and installed them. I was thrilled until I was cleaning up (after dark) and just happened to walk to the back of the car only to find it shining against my garage door.

The car is off in that pic and the key isn't in it, so wtf right?

Out comes the multimeter and sure enough, there's voltage and nearly an unmeasurable amount of amperage.

Not enough to shine a bulb, but plenty for an led. I have to assume the sequencer kit is letting it get power even when car is off.
I feel confident I didn't install it wrong since it's plug-n-play.
So FYI, check your LED's after dark!

Edit: you dont see the right led since I took it out before thinking to take a pic
