leaf spring removal question...

does the clamp that's removed from the spring get put back on or is it toast once you remove it?

Yes, you reuse the same clamps. Just bend open the clamp and bend again to close...no problem!

cool, thanks! i notice you have an '01. did you remove one of yours? i've got an '04 w/'01 springs and am about to remove a leaf. anyone have driveability problems from removing a leaf from an '01 spring?

No, I didn't/wouldn't remove one of my leafs. But, I did help a friend remove one of his on a 99. He is well pleased with the results/ride. I like to tow my utility trailer on occation so would rather leave mine intact.
