I have a couple of questions about how everyone launches. Whats the best RPM to launch at? Im running nitto 555's with 18lbs in tires. Tryed pulling off at 3 grand and bogged it down. Any input is appreciated. :coolman: Even bogged I was running 100mph in the 1/8.

get a 2 step and figure out what works, I havent tried with Drag radials yet but if you're boggin then try mashing the gas after you drop the clutch.

get gears. you're gonna bog unless you launch @5k+ rpm with 3.31's. make sure you pre-load as well.

Yea was thinking about the 2-step. Heard it was well worth the money.

Good luck with breaking rear ends on the 2step... I learned the hard way... I just use the NLTS now and love it ...

+1 on the 331's suckin for launching... Up the gear to 373 or 410 and don't dump the clutch just a quick slip and go. 4k-4500 is the sweet spot. Good luck with traction.
