I am curious as to what and how everyone else is doing without a TB launching their auto turbo cars.
There is only so much footbraking to be had lol... mine seems to like 2800rpms footbrakes... as it gave me a 1.5 60ft (which i know is nothing to write home about... but not bad for no TB on a turbo car IMO). I tried going to 3k rpms but i blew the rear tires (24psi of air though lol). I am going to try lowering the air of the tires this weekend and footbrake it to 3k rpms and see what 60ft i get.

Anyone with a turbo auto car and no transbrake, i would appreciate your input. I figured we could all help each other.

We've done it.

You can try holding up the E Brake and releasing it on the launch (trying to hold the tires from spinning as much as possible). The only other option would really be to go with a looser converter.

^ good idea. Something to try this weekend i guess lol
I'm going to try lowering the air pressure of the rear tires though.

Definitely do like aaron said & use the ebrake with that converter. Id put a piece of ducktape over the button to prevent accidently letting go of it. Also with the ET pros id run 16-18psi. I had no issue with tires blowing off with them in that range.

This is a great idea. I'm going to try this AND lowering the tire pressure some. This 3B has no problem at 2800rpms but i think it might go a little higher using the e-brake like you guys said.
don't you ebrake the rsx to launch it anyway? shouldn't be too hard to do it on the gt

Yep, that's the only way to launch that thing without dumping the clutch and blowing the tires off horribly lol

Yeah if you hold it enough and it loads right, the Rear will definitely raise up a lot on the footbrake.

I'm determined to go from 2800 to 3000 footbraking somehow lol.
Hopefullt the e-brake and less air on the tires get me there.
